Luxury House Hermès has unveiled a new boutique at the heart of The Dubai Mall, pegged as the largest in the region. Spanning over 976m2 and located in the new fashion avenue of the mall was designed by RDAI, the Parisian architecture agency.

Customers will revel in a majestic façade customized with taupe terracotta vertical louvres and a glass frontage, alongside windows embellished with a screen-printed motif. Stepping into the open-plan space gives way to an eight-metre-high ceiling an dvast volumes – a project that has been marked as a pioneering venture for the house’s retail experience. The majestic boutique hence presents the House’s luxurious goods, from silk to leather goods, equestrian, men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, watches and jewellery, fragrances, home…

The new location has special places to each and every one of Hermès’ 16 métiers, alongside a special place on the second floor. The store boasts as well an exclusive sur-mesure service, inviting clients to discover the expertise of the Hermès ateliers.

As for the inaugural windows, they were inspired by the Hermès theme of the year, “Let’s Play!”, as well as the alphabet specifically developed by illustrator Jan Bajtlik for the opening of the new store. The latter hence created an abstract and playful vision of the Dubai urban landscape. These windows will later on welcome a series of local and international artists and designers, who will all exhibit their works in dynamic conversation with objects and collections of the house, in line with Hermès’ unique heritage.

To celebrate the lavish opening, the House is al hosting a unique funfair inspired by the Hermès’ 2018 theme of the year, “Let’s Play”, at Burj Park, from March 21st till March 22nd.
